Appeals against administrative decisions (Article 146 of the Constitution)

The Constitution of the Republic of Cyprus provides a safeguard as well as a control mechanism of any administrative decisions, acts or omissions of any organ, body, authority, or persons exercising executive or administrative duties.

Article 146 of the Cyprus Constitution enables any such action to be Judicially Reviewed by the Administrative Court of Cyprus.

Such a recourse however can be made only within 75 days after the act or decision was published in the Official Gazette or came to the knowledge of the complainant.

Appeals before the Administrative Court vary and include, but are not limited to, Acquisitions, Tax Issues and Urban Planning Zone Changes as well as the promotions of public organs.

At Dilinos & Associates LLC we have experienced lawyers that have handled a vast number of such cases, many of which successfully cancelled Acquisitions Orders, Requisition Orders and Planning Zone Changes.
